Change Colors on Command Line

I tried to find some info on this but turned up ziltch..I'm using Fedora 10. Is there any way to change the colors of the command line in Terminal. It's "lite white" on black now but hard for me to see. Any way to change it to like red coloring for the letters or something...thanks in advance.

Which terminal program are you using? If you use Konsole, there's actually a menu item called "Settings"->"Schema" that lets you select a colour scheme.

Open terminal, click Edit>Profiles, open the profile you want and in the Colors menu change what you want.

It entirely depends on the terminal emulator that you use. So, let us know.
