Change Boot sequence

I want to change the Boot sequence in Ubuntu 10.04.
In the past I have used
Quote:
sudo gedit /boot/grub/menu.lst
but with 10.04 this returns a blank screen.
I assume something has changed.
Help please
Cliff

Ubuntu 10.4 use GRUB 2 .
GRUB2 do not have a menu.lst but grub.cfg.
Although grub.cfg is all so located /boot/grub/grub.cfg , it might be wise to read first how GRUB 2 works before changing something
