Cepstral TTS

I have installed cepstral on my windows, and now on my linux machine. In windows I was able to use it with a firefox plugin to read text in firefox. But, using gnome I haven't figured out how to do it.

I have festival installed, and supposedly GNOME text-to-speech library some how supports cepstral, but I'm too new to linux to understand how to put all this together.

I thought I might be able to somehow transfer the clipboard into a variable to plug into a shell file which would pump text into the cepstral engine, but so far i haven't had any luck.

It would be real cool if someone could help me out. I'm rather hard of seeing.
