centos network manager


How do I make sure Network Manager is started on boot up?

You should really do a web search, as there are plenty of guides out there.

To check it's current status, open a terminal window and type;

Code:
systemctl status NetworkManager
If it's not active, then it's not enabled on boot - you should see the word "enabled" if it is started on boot.

Welcome to LinuxQuestions.

It depends on version and the assumption is your running CentOS 7. If your running version 6 then its via the chkconfig comand.

chkconfig --list NetworkManager
