Cd Wont Eject??

Hi guys!

My cd wont eject today! I am running FC2 and this what happens;

eject: unable to open `/dev/hdc'

mount /dev/cdrom
mount: /dev/cdrom is not a valid block device

I just upgraded to FC2 .. I had the same setup for fstab and it was working fine under FC1??
What can I do?

Well just look thru the /dev/
directory and see if $cdrom is there...........
maybe the symlink is gone........if so just make a
new one and point it back to /dev/hdc

Hehe, cdrom is there, I have the correct permissions for the /dev/hdc. What else could be causing that? I noticed other things dont work after the upgrade as well - it slows up a lot, web browser freezes when u try to type in something ... its terrible, I might have to format and try on a clean partition.
