CD-RW / DVD-RW can not read contents

Dear expert,

I got some REWRITE disc (cd/dvd). I have no idea that I can not read the content in the disc, I can tell there was data from the surface of the disc. (it looks dull)

I have try some program in rescue tools like this one: http://www.sysresccd.org/SystemRescueCd_Homepage
as well as WindowsPE

Which linux OS / version are you running when you try reading these discs?
Also post the kernel version.

How were the discs created and by what OS? What is the contents of these discs.

I try both Windows as well as Linux to rescue the disc.
I forget which Linux distro/kernel version.

Firstly, the discs are all REWRITE/RW, I use program like Nero, Roxio
in Windows to do re-write.
