CD Ripping


Is there a program which allows me to rip mp3s onto my harddrive? I have grip but it won't let me encode, i get some erroe when i use the lame codec saying wrong decoder executable, so is ther eanything i can do? Or can someone help me figure this out?

There's a few non-official SuSE rpm repositories
in the wild, I'd suggest a google at
http://www.google.com/linux
for
SuSE <version> lame rpm download

You just need to d/l lame and compile it. It's a nice easy one to compile. Lame is about the best as it does VBR... You could also use ogg which is nice, tho I tend to stick with mp3 as I share them over the local net to other pc's
