CD-icon on desktop does not work

After re-installing/repairing Mandrake 9.2 the CD-ROM-icon on the desktop no longer works.

Instead I get this error message (translated from Danish):

"Fetching of data from devices is not supported"

This is annoying especially because I cannot delete the icon (no delete option on right click menu.)

Is there a way to either delete the icon or make it work?

Delete the icon manually from /home/user name/Desktop/

It should be in there

Tnx for the reply - but specifically the CD-icon (and floppy-icon) are not represented by any files in that directory.

But fortunately, I did manage to get rid of those icons by using a configration menu (KDE>lookNfeel>behavior)
