CD/DVD Drive don't work from File Browser Application in my KDE 3.3 over Debian

Hi Guys,

It's a Pitty. I'am trying to leave WinXP for Debian Linux, but I couldnt get the CD/DVD Drive from the "File Browser" in KDE. I just had to get it using mount cdrom command, but ididnt appear from there anyway.
By other hand, I couldnt eject it also, I get an error message that now I dont remember, the eject command only made a sucessed umount action.
Finally, I had to go to WinXP again to work easily

Please, Help!

you'll never find the drive in the directory tree as a "drive", but you can found it in a folder where has been mounted.
usually /etc/fstab including the path like /mnt/cdrom - /mnt/cdrecorder - /media/cdrom.

to eject a drive, U have to umount it first. if U have the icon on kde desktop, right click on it and will found the way to do. i am not sure if U select "eject" will unmount it automatically or not. also need to close applications which use it like browser or players etc.
good luck.
