Cd Drive error


I have a P-III 500 and have installed Red Hat Fedora core from Cd
When I insert a music CD icon appears on screen as Audio but when I try to play Cd I Get drive error message, Its the same drive from which I installed fedora Core. any help would be appreciated

Can you mount normal data CDs from this drive? Play normal audio files? What is the exact text of the error you are getting?

Applications/System Settings/Users and Groups/enter root password. under users select your name.then properties/Groups/select all groups/ok
