CD-Burning corrupting files?

I am trying to burn 4 ISO images to a CD for RHEL 4. I downloaded the images and the md5sum checks out with the one provided. However, when I burn the CD (with no errors) and run 'linux mediacheck', at the startup, the disc fails. I've done this before with DVDs and never had a problem, but RHEL doesnt come in DVD ISO format. Any ideas on how to rememdy the problem?

Have you tried booting the install disk or have you just run the checks... I would try to boot anyway... Also try burning slower... 8 or even 4x...

Thanks for the response-
I tried to proceed with the installation anyway, but it couldn't start anaconda and crapped out. I tried to burn at 2x and the problem persisted....

Any other ideas? Thanks so much.
