i am new in linux. at windows i used acdsee for cataloguing my pictures.
for example i could say a picture was about dogs and fun. then i could click dogs and i saw all the pictures about dogs.
is there a program in linux that can do this. i have searched the web but could not find a thing.
data organisation is person specific, how you like it... try this in a terminal window: nautilus --no-desktop, that is a good file manager that is gui.. not exactly same, but might be worth your time.. also do a search of www.sourceforge.net that has everything ;-)
