Question card reader wont work

Hi there,

I have a compaq presario laptop and have installed Open SUSE 10 on it (KDE 3.5.1)

My problem is that the inbuilt card reader in my machine (one of those 6 in one types; SD, MS/Pro, MMC, SM, XD) doesnt work. P.S. it works flawlessly in windows however.

Any clues anybody.

Thanks in advance

Those multicard readers in laptops are frequently not supported; I have the same issue with the one in my Acer. No one seems to have a solution. Anything that connects by usb seems to work fine however, eg. pen drives, usb card readers, external hard drives etc.
