Capability to run Virtual OS on Thinkpad X220?
Dear all,
I'm a newbie to this forum so I don't know where to start. I'm considering buying a new laptop (X220 to be specific) with the following specs: 1. Core i7 2620M 2. 8Gb of RAM Will it be possible for me to run Linux (Debian) with 2 different Virtual OS (Win 7 and Mac - for my work)at the same time? Will it slow down or stuck? |

"Intel® Virtualization Technology (VT-x)" -> Yes It supports hardware virt. But with only 8 GB RAM and only 2 real cores, things might be slow running 3 OSes at the same time. |
Thanks a lot for your information.
I'll take that into consideration. What if I push it upto 16GB of RAM? |
I can run multiple Vitualbox windows (xp and Linux) within Linux with no problem on i5 with 4G-ram
