I am trying to uninstall mozilla 1.0.1.-26 that came with RH .. so I first did
rpm -qa | grep mozilla and this returned ...

mozilla-1.0.1-26
mozilla-psm-1.0.1-26
mozilla-mail-1.0.1-26
mozilla-nss-1.0.1-26
mozilla-nspr-1.0.1-26

Then I did
rpm -e mozilla-1.0.1-26 mozilla-psm-1.0.1-26 mozilla-mail-1.0.1-26 mozilla-nss-1.0.1-26 mozilla-nspr-1.0.1-26 evolution-1.0.8-11

Yea i had to include evolution, otherwise it was complaning that there were so dependencies used by evolution.

Currently I have installed mozilla 1.5 through the installer, which created mozilla under the usr/local/mozilla directory. But the problem is when I try uninstalling the packages my machine just hangs...and I have no way out rather to kill the process.

Anyone faced a similar situation before?

Sorry for bothering you guys again with this, but I was wondering if anyone has encountered this problem in the interim. I can't uninstall my old mozilla rpm.
