Cant seem to open my cd/dvd rom


How can i open my dvd rom ?,been trying for days to download pictures off my cd rom to my facebook..

Seems like you haven't mounted the dvd-drive, mount it

what linux os are you using? There'll be a hardware browser or something like that, can you see your dvd drive in it?

This is how you can mount your drive:

Type command cat /etc/fstab to know your dvd-drive name

Then type command mount /dev/XXXXX /mnt/cdrom (replace XXXXX with the name you got)
