Cant seem to load FD3 with knome GUI
Hello, i am new to Linux and have a problem
When i installed linux a while back it installed fine. When i was using office org the computer froze on me which forced me to reset. After this i cannot get a desktop appearing. It loads the Fedora Core 3 screen as if it is going to load the desktop but stays on it and doesn nothing. I was trying to sort it yesterday and before i gave up i accidentally presed a button and it loaded. Therefore i have looked at ways to change the display settings by using ctrl+alt+f1 and going into a termianl program there ever since then i cannot get it back on!
If anyone has an answer then that would be great as i havent got a clue whats goin on!
