Cant reboot. Inode, fsck?
I am new to linux and got it installed. I downloaded the atmel driver for my wireless usb adapter and tried to install it, but was in over my head and i think i screwed something up. When i try to boot up linux, it gets stuck and displays this.

Inode 53 has illegal block
Unexpected Inconsistancy
Run fsck manuelly (without -a or-p options).

so I typed my root password, then typed "fsck"
It it kept telling me there were illegal blocks and asking if i wanted to fix them.<y> I hit y a whole lot of times. Then it started asking if I wanted to duplicate them or something. I then hit 'y' a whole lot of times again and it seemed like it would never end so I rebooted, and I am still having trouble. I need help! Please!!!!!!!!!
Thank you in advance.

I have had this problem the first time I installed Linux.

The problem was : one of my partitions was screwed up, and bad blocks were detected at linux boot each time I had made I/O in Windows.

Hope you have something like partition magic, wich will tell you if any partition is bad.

Other than that, I don't know.

Besides, you have to se the man page of fsck, because there is an option wich may avoid you to hit 'y' million of times.
