Question Cant ping Linux from W2K on same net

Have a RH 6.1 box that I can ping, telnet, and ftp into itself. I have a W2k box on the same network, and I cant ping the Linux box.

From the Linux box I can ping the w2k box and out to the Internet through my D-Link DSL router DI-704P. Im new to this but the services seem to be running on the linux as I mentioned that I can do it all from the linux please.............

If your linux firewall is set to DROP. Then ping probably wont get an icmp packet back and thinks that there is nobody there.
