cant install rmp files in Mandriva 2007
 
I have downloaded the amsn rpm file, and whene I am to run it, I get the message that it is broken or does not exist :(

The amsn file is for mandriva 2006.. Can that have something to do with it or?

It is possible that some settings may have changed from 2006 to 2007 release or the file you downloaded is corrupt.

Try Mandriva's package management tool to install amsn. If that does not apply, I can suggest you to go to rpm.pbone.net and search for the rpm suitable for your distribution. Still not solved, try googling.

If that doesn't work, Kopete or GAIM, whichever happens to be installed with Mandriva...
