cant install nVidia drivers on dell xps 15
 
I purchased Dell xps15
I got 1GB NVIDIAŽ GeForceŽ GT 525M graphics with Optimus
I installed ubuntu 10.10 64bit and then installed the nVidia drivers by following procedure given as http://www.psychocats.net/ubuntu/nvidia
when rebooted I was dropped down to cmd prompt!
then i reinstalled it and now want to install nVidia drivers so what should i do ??
I am a newbie

nVidia does not support 'optimus' with linux, its windows 7 only. There is only 3 ways use the nvidia GPU on optimus systems running linux-

1- BIOS switch to force the nVidia GPU
2- BIOS switch to disable the intel intergrated video
3- Hacked software/driver/config files (mostly from custom EDID files)

As far as I know, there is no way to get any of these options working with the XPS 15.
