cant getarg region program terminated

Hello,

I am very new to programming as well as Linux.

I am a research student and working on a project wherein I am using a code provided by a professor abroad.
I am unable to run the main modules of the code. I get the error "cant getarg region program terminated" while I try running it through the test data provided along with the code. Few of the modules have already run and created the input data for the two modules which aren't working.
I tried Fedora and Ubuntu both, it doesn't work.
I am confused where is the problem.

I can provide the code as well if anybody can help me out. I really need to finish my project asap.

Well, it would help if you told us which language this is written in.
Exactly what cmd did you give and the exact output msgs.
Also describe what sort of processing is this program supposed to do and maybe show a few data records.

Details, details ...

Thanks Chris for considering my problem.

I am working on an Inversion process (Tomography).
The program is written in C language.

I am attaching the readme of the modules as well as the data records and the error I am getting.

Two of the main modules, "rdphase and ctomo" aren't working even if the inputs are already present.

Can email you detailed issue if you further need clarifications regarding my problem.
