Can't get updated kernel

I'm trying to apt-get install kernel-image-2.6.6-1-686 and I get unmet dependencies.
Depends: initrd-tools (>= 0.1.21) but is not going to be installed.

I can't seem to get this dependency fixed. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

P.S. how toyou copy text out of the terminal?

If you highlight the text in the terminal with your mouse it will copy it, right clicking will paste it into the current terminal - or a text editor.
