cant get audio cds to work on my suse 9.2

hey all. i have suse 9.2, and when i try to play an audio cd, it complains that "I could not determine the filesystem type, and none was specified" i have tried to find solutions, but i cant. it works for data cds and everything, just audio cd's dont work. thx for your time, if i need to post any more info just say what.

Hmm, your not trying to mount the audio cd are you?

more than likely. i am total linux know nothing. do you have to do things differently with audio then?

well never mind, it seems it just didnt like my cd writer. the normal drive worked fine
