cant boot

i am using fedora5 but can't boot

wat i've done is

root (hd0,5)

kernel /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.15-1.2054_FC5 ro root=LABEL=/ rhgb quiet

but it says file not found...
though partition is recognised correctly...
do i need to modify grub.conf ??
and how to do that???
pl help!!
