Unhappy cant access internet....

hi every body, very new in linux, just installed suse 10.1, the graphic is superb and everything looks to run normally, however need lots of times to learn it, but the first thing it bothers me is that i cant connect to internet, i cant make a new connection (like XP) so i mongoe my connection manually, neither there is not running automated connection wizard like (windows XP) so i do it through the wizard. any suggestion plz.

we need a little more info. how do you connect to the internet ?
DSL, ADSL, modem, cable-modem, ethernet ? let us know, we will help you out.

Suse has an control panel, like in windows.
I'm not sure if its called Yast or if Yast is simply the program installer for Suse.
But I know there is a network configuration icon in the control panel for Suse.
Click on it, and you will be able to edit or add a network confguration.
