hi there. straight to the point.

i want to install programs from cd2 and cd3 of mdk9.
i go at the "mdk control center", to the "source area".
at sources, there is only cd1 available, so i have to add cd2 and cd3, so i will be able to install from that cds too, right?

i go to add cd2. this is the info for cd1:
removable://mnt/cdrom/Mandrake/RPMS
..base/hdlist1.cz

i tried to add cd2 using this info:
removable://mnt/cdrom/Mandrake/RPMS2
..base/hdlist2.cz

and i inserted cd2 in the drive
..but it says that cannot update, so it will not be available
(so it unchecks it automatically)

so.. what am i doing wrong guys?
any help appreciated.

menu>> Configuration / Packaging / Install Software

make sure the "all" button is checked to get a full list of installed and installable

I also found (after accidentally deleting sources that were working perfectly) that I had to have the CD in the drive before adding/updating the CD sources.
