Canon imageclass mp370, any drivers ?

Cannot get this printer going via usb connection. Canon mp370 is current model printer/scanner/fax/copier.
Canon do not supply drivers for this unit for it to run under linux.
Any suggestions.

Running standard PC, Celeron 1.7mg, 520m memory, broadband 256k, 17" tft screen.

Thanks for the link, but I did get a little lost.
Way too many paths and options.

The system does not recognise or affect the sleep mode of the printer.

Why.......any ideas ?
