Cannot start X11 in Damn small linux

Haven't booted my linux box in a while and so i decided to today, but i cannot start X11 (i am posting this from links on the text console):
Code:
root@box:/#startx
Using X resolution from previously selected or default settings.
If you want to change the resolution, run `xsetup.sh'.

XIO: fatal IO error 104 (Connection reset by peer) on X server ":0.0"
after 0 requests (0 known processed) with 0 events remaining.
root@box:/#
Any ideas WTF this means?

You could try setting the driver to "vesa" in your xorg.conf file and ensure the 4 X11-font packages are installed.

There ya go. Glad to see ya got it sorted. X11 has to have an xorg.conf to run. .xsetup.sh will create one for you if you do not already have one.

X11 has to have an xorg.conf to run.
By an ideal combination of graphics and monitor,
the latest versions of xorg needs no xorg.conf .

Example info ..

( Just Google .. no xorg.conf ..
