Smile Cannot see domain computers with Samba installed Fedora 19 - LXDE

Hi everyone,

I am currently facing a situation where I cannot seem to see the computers of the domain that I am connected to.

I think I can recall using Ubuntu at one time and was able to see the domain computers while my PC was part of a "WORKGROUP"

I am able to get an IP address and ping the computers on the domain however I still cannot seem to access them.

Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you
Marios

what does
Code:
smbtree -NS|grep '\\'|tr -d '\t\\'|awk '{print $1}'
give you?
It should be a list of computer names offering smb shares.
Silly question but you do have smbclient installed don't you?

Hi Keith,

Apologies for not getting back to this post sooner. I had been occupied with domestics. I will certainly try your suggestion as soon as possible and post back.

Thank you
Marios
