Cannot mount NTFS filesystem on FC6

I tried to mount ntfs drives and followed the following steps which ended in the following errors ... Please Help!!

This is the result of fdisk -l

Device Boot Start End Blocks Id System
/dev/sda1 * 1 5992 48126928+ 7 HPFS/NTFS
Partition 1 does not end on cylinder boundary.
/dev/sda2 5993 6004 96390 83 Linux
/dev/sda3 6005 7297 10386022+ 8e Linux LVM

and then I installed ntfs-3g

After that I tried to mount NTFS drive by the following commands which gave me the following error

mkdir /mnt/Windows
mount /dev/sda1 /mnt/Windows_Partition -t ntfs-3g -r -o unmask=0222

This gives the following message...

"WARNING: Deficient Linux kernel detected. Some driver features are
not available (swap file on NTFS, boot from NTFS by LILO), and
unmount is not safe unless it's made sure the ntfs-3g process
naturally terminates after calling 'umount'. If you wish this
message to disappear then you should upgrade to at least kernel
version 2.6.20, or request help from your distribution to fix
the kernel problem. The below web page has more information:
//ntfs-3g.org/support.html#fuse26"

Oops...

This was the appropriate command

mount /dev/sda1 /mnt/Windows -t ntfs-3g -r -o unmask=0222

Well, what's your kernel version (is it older than that one asked)?
Code:

uname -a
You could upgrade your kernel if you like. If Fedora6 doesn't provide ready rpm packages for that trough yum upgrade, you could compile one manually also...easier done trough yum if possible.

I wonder if it's unmask=0222 or umask=0222, the latter one would sound better to me..

Open Pirut, search for "ntfs" and then install all the packages you see except these with the same name and newer version. Then just install the newer version.
