Cannot log into dedicated server
This week I have changed my PC from Ubuntu to Debian.
However, since this change I am unable to login into my Kimsufi Dedicated Server Ubuntu 16.04, which I use for Plex. Root login is disabled and I ssh with a separate user name and password. The error I get is Permission denied (publickey, password) Please can someone help me, as I do not really want to set up the server from scratch. |
I do not remember setting up any keys.

My first reaction is that this question might be better directed to Kimsufi, the hosting provider for your dedi.

No backup support from Kimsufi. They are cheap and cheerful, but no good with serious issues.
They are migrating their forum, so it is just read only. |
Sorted. Not sure what is was, but a reboot of the server did the trick.
Thanks for your reply. |

did you create the didecated server by yourself? Is it difficult to build a dedicated server? (Guys, I know you will consider this post to be a spam like, but I really want to know the answer to my question as there is few information about how to build a dedicated server) P.S. I would like to build a dedicated server but I didn't find any info Almost each person simply says:"It's hard so you don't have to try it..." |
