Unhappy Cannot install or sync to any repsitories

Hey everyone, I've been using Linux Ubuntu 11.04) off and on for a few months, I want to begin creating (or kanging and changing with permission of course) android roms and themes. I'm following an older guide written by cvpcs and when I get to the part where I download the source in terminal emulator I get stuck, Ive tried other repo's with the same results, I tried using the search function before posting but that was a nightmare. I'm so sorry to ask such a lame question but I've scoured the internet and I dont know where else to turn, here is the command I type into terminal and what it throws back. Any help or even speculation would keep me from taking out my aggression on my wifes cat. thanks all.:

Well, FYI kernel.org security was breached longer than a month ago and the security audit is not complete yet. The admins are putting all sites online only when they are sure the contents are OK. Be patient. (BTW, this has made the rounds in the tech press for several weeks now).

I was finally able to get ahold of a friend who is taking an android vacation and he said that there are plenty of people that cloned and mirrored the repo's. I successfully synced and installed the gingerbread repo, git, the works from :codeauroura, Thank you for your speedy response, I will be putting this forum on my stalker list so if you see the bushes move, its probably me.
