cannot install gyach
i am using slackware 1.o
i downloaded gyach rpm but i cannot run it
i treid following
rpm - ivh --nodeps --force gyach.............rpm*
it gave error
then i did following
i got the output as
oot@achal:~# rpm -ivh --nodeps Gyach-Enhanced-Media-Package-0.2-1.i586.rpm*
Preparing... ########################################### [100%]
package Gyach-Enhanced-Media-Package-0.2-1 is already installed
root@achal:~# Gyach
-bash: Gyach: command not found
what should i do

You're always better off compiling an app from source than trying to use an rpm.

thats isthe media package that you are trying to install
that is not the base package fpr gyach
first install the base package

since the user has not installed the default base package
