cannot connect two ubuntu machines

dear friends,

I have two ubuntu machines in my shop. one is ubuntu desktop 16.0 LTS. ( my pc ), and the other one is ubuntu Mate 14.0 LTS. ( for the users ). the problem is that few days before I was able to connect with the user's machine from my ubunu desktop. I installed samba, nautilus-share, openssh-server/client on both machines. but , for some days I am facing a connectivity issues with that machine ( MATE for the user). I cannot LAN that machine as well as not getting any access on its drive.

what is the solutions for this issue, that I can fix it.

any help would be appreciated.

How is each machine connected to the LAN and to which LAN?

And how did you open each machine's firewall to allow incoming SSH?

Firewall was causing the problem. I change the GUFW rules in the Client machine . Now all is fine.
