Hi,
I have installed centos 5.8 on my desktop. Even I have installed both Desktop and KDE environment on centos and I have logged in through GNOME. In another system I have logged in through KDE environment and its fedora 17. I am trying to take vnc of fedora system(KDE) from my centos(GNOME), but I couldnt, it gives an error message that "unable to connect to host:connection refused(111)". Plz help to find out the error. |
make sure you have the right ip address for the computer you want to connect to. Are in the local network?
if so type from the computer being use as client Code:
nmblookup -M -- - If you have more computers ON when you run this command they all will appear there so you will have to test different. good luck to you. |
Yes,
The systems are in the local network. Centos system IP is 172.16.81.217 and fodora is 172.16.81.218. |
