cannot connect to a network (new place for the PC; TinyCore4.5.6)

hello there,

I am trying to connect to a network here with TinyCoreLinux (the PC worked at home; it is today in a new place).

The "Network" menu show
- network mask show 255.255.255.0
- name server 10.1.0.1
But no connection with "minefield".. It show only a continuous "Connecting..." but dont connect.

The resolv.conf content is:
search schule.local
nameserver 10.1.0.1

So: has somebody any advice how to connect?

I think this is a question of proxy because in firefox under windows, the parameters which has to be given are 10.1.0.1 and port 8080 for making working a PC.

Solution:

===============
Browser start (Mienefield in my case)
Go to "edit" "Preferences" "Advanced" "Network"
in "Connection"-"Settings", put for "manual proxi configuration"
HTTP Proxy 10.1.0.1 and Port 8080.
(clean the field "No Proxy For").
===============
