Cannot chdir into mountpoint.

I have installed php7 as the way
https://github.com/kasparsd/php-7-debian

debian8@hwy:~$ sudo ln -s /usr/local/php7/bin/php /usr/bin/php7
[sudo] password for debian8:
Cannot chdir into mountpoint.
Cannot chdir into mountpoint.

Why the error is `Cannot chdir into mountpoint`?
How to fix it?

If the php installation offered a new group, the $USER should first be a member of that php group. Check membership of user:
Code:
id $USERNAME
Use usermod to become a member.

If still it persists, the permissions of the folder should be modified. Use chmod.

Read manuals first:
Code:
man usermod
man chmod
Good luck.

cat /etc/sudoers
root ALL=(ALL:ALL) ALL
debian8 ALL=(ALL:ALL)ALL

debian8@hwy:~$ id $USERNAME
uid=1000(debian8) gid=1000(debian8) groups=1000(debian8),24(cdrom),25(floppy),29(audio),30(dip),44(video),46(plugdev),108(netdev),111(sc anner),117(lpadmin)

debian8@hwy:~$ sudo find / -name 'vimrc'
Cannot chdir into mountpoint.
/home/debian8/openwrt/feeds/packages/utils/vim/files/vimrc
/root/openwrt/feeds/packages/utils/vim/files/vimrc
/usr/share/vim/vimrc
/etc/vim/bundle/Vundle.vim/test/vimrc
/etc/vim/bundle/vundle/test/vimrc
/etc/vim/vimrc
Cannot chdir into mountpoint.

Why `Cannot chdir into mountpoint` error info occur when to execute sudo find / -name 'vimrc' ?

chdir is not a valid command in Linux, AFAIK. That's a DOS command. In Linux you use cd to change directories. I have no idea why you're seeing that on a Debian system. Something is strange.

The underlying system call is chdir(), and if a C program rather than a script is complaining, that's what it would refer to.

Show us the output of
Code:
cat /proc/mounts
please. As well as
Code:
ls -ld /usr/local/php7/bin/php
, for starters.

My first guess would be that one of your directories is mounted with incorrect location or options, but idk yet.

Wonder if it is supported? (I'd think it must be on Debian x86/AMD)

" This option merely produces an error message on systems that do not support symbolic links. "
