Can you image your Linux Installation?

Hello:

I've been working with Linux for about a year now, and I LOVE IT!

However, I would like to image my set up on to a CD so that I don't have to retune all of my settings. (Takes me days to ge things just right).

Is there a program available for Linux that lets me image my hard drive so I can just boot up from a floppy, install the image and my system is good to go?

Windows equivalents would include DriveImage or Norton Ghost.

If not, can anybody give me tips on how to lessen the time it takes to fix everything up?

Thanks.

You can always use dd, and just pipe the
output through gzip to get it smaller ...

Or, use partimage
