can we uninstall linux
can we uninstall linux in a system with 2 OS namely 1: win2000 2:Fedora core 2
and after uninstalling linux, can we provide the previous linux partition to win2000 . if so wat abt boot loaders,i mean how can we restore boot loader for windows. thank u, nagu_linux |
In windows2k, right click on my computer and select manage.
In the left pane of the new window, choose disk management. This should show all partitions on each harddrive. Right click on the linux partition, format with the Filesystem of your choosing. You can also delete/add/convert partitions from here. As far as boot loaders, I believe you can use fdisk /mbr from a Floppy to edit the boot record. |
the same to me
I have experienced kind of one, but my issue is that command fdisk /mbr does't work on my hard
.Only the second part-le to speak-of mbr gets changed .the first part of mbr isn't overwrited . I dont think the hard sector is crushed , Distro sarge had been installed onthe first part mbr. How can i overcome this problem |
