Unhappy Can someone help me install connochaet os ?

Hi all, I was going through different distributions of linux today and just came across connochaetOS. I downloaded it and since I had a old laptop I decide to try it on that. The laptop can't boot from usb so I had to use plop boot manager to make boot from usb. I made a bootable usb of connochaet OS using unetbootin.After connecting it to my laptop I rebooted it, made it boot from usb. The unetbootin menu came up with the options:
1.Boot connochaetOS from installation disc.
2.shutdown the computer
3.reboot the computer the computer
4.Arch

1.I chose boot connochaetos from installation disc. The welcome box showed up and I clicked on ok. Then it came with the installer options.

2.I chose my timezone and region.

3.Next I chose the prepare the hard disk option. In the next menu I chose auto prepare.

4.It asked me to give the amount of swap space. I went with 256MB. It then asked whether I surely want to format the drive. I chose yes. It then gave me the message auto prepare was successful.

5. Now came the problem. After it told me that auto prepare was successful, it gave me the error shown in the uploaded picture number 1. And after this it gave me error no.2 - also uploaded.
After these two errors it took me back to the screen with the installation options like set timezone, prepare hard disk, install, etc. Since I didn't want to go further after this error I chose the option exit install.

Can somebody tell me why these errors are coming and how to fix them. Any help would be appreciated.

Wow yet another distro.

Your best bet is to go with a distro that is active.

For low-end hardware I would suggest antiX, Debian, or Slackware.

Is there any reason why you must install from USB? The problem is obviously that the installer doesn't seem to realise that it's not on a disk. There is a discussion here that might help:

@craigevil
ChonochaetOS is not "another distro" and it's certainly active: it started in 2006 as DeLi and the last release was this year. It's very nice, although a fully FLOSS distro with a blob-free kernel won't suit everyone.
