Reread the last line of what you've said.

Follow it.

Its quite simple.

If you come to us with one you've written, we can look at it for you, but we wont give you the answers. Oh, and your teacher is clearly able to use linux or at least understand it - why do you think your teacher wouldn't use this site also?

I was asking for help not for the answers.

Hey,

Well you've shown NOTHING to show you've done any work youself. Have you read the man page? Have you googled logrotate configs?

If so, show what you've come up with, and we'll help you refine it. But so far, you've shown nothing to prove you've actually attempted to do this.

Infact, I hope your teacher DOES visit these forums and see how little effort you put into solving this before asking someone to spell it out for you.

Hey
yes I have googled it and it didn't made any sense thats why I went on the forum and posted it. Talking about the man pages I don't have Linux operating system running outside of class I tried make a bootable USB it didn't work tried 8 times. Don't wanna dual boot with windows because something can be screwed up and I will loose both Operating systems. went and downloaded illegal version of Vmware yes man its illegal, cracked, hacked, keygened gonna install Ubuntu on it maybe it will concern someone that I use it for education. Talking about my teacher if he will visit this forum WHAT IS HE GONNA DO, REALLY? that I posted my homework question on the linux forum and asked for help not answer. Help means someone could send just a man page of it. What is wrong with you people if I posted a question from homework you think I'm just looking for answer, no I'm not looking for answer I looking for hints. I asked any help will be appreciated, because Im new to this. I got nothing against you, but you need to relax a bit listen to some music here is a good link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kOH5UyyfER8

After this help hopefully I will never post something and ask for help in this forum especially the Linux users. After I finish this class I'll rather use Windows that way I don't have to ask someone for help

Why crack VMWare when there's VirtualBox, a free (and in no cost and open-source) virtual machine.

Also, what djsmiley2k said was in no way offensive. If you disagree or think he misunderstood you, kindly say so. If you would have said that you didn't have Linux available at the time and that you Googled and didn't understand anything, then he might have not said that.
