Can Self Hosted scripts be used on Shared Hosting ?
A quick question. I see some scripts are labled self hosted but i would like to
install on shared hosting, would this be possible-All things being equal-No special settings etc. ? The scripts are on git-hub in a list so contacting anyone would be kinda difficult or i would not be here asking the question.

Has nothing to do with the scripts, but everything to do with the terms of service for your hosting provider. You need to ask them if you're allowed to install scripts.

How so? There are typically contact email addresses or other information to get in touch with the developers easily. Might help if you said what these scripts are, or posted a link.
In every case I can imagine, yes. "Self-hosted" means they didn't host it for you. If you install it on a shared host, that counts as "self-hosting".
Feel free to link to the scripts if you want to know for sure.
Thank`s i`m getting better and quicker answers here than on another high end forum with so called experts-I won`t name here though.
They are all on github the link is here https://github.com/Kickball/awesome-selfhosted there is far to many to list here and only intersted in a few of them 3 examples are listed below. I`m computer literate for the most part but not with linux, but it has come a long way the last 10-15 years, now it`s overtaking windows, that`s why MS took over github, seeing the writing on the wall,to much compitition, lot`s of free software. Sorry for going off course but i developed a sore spot for all things MS, google, apple,FB and all the rest of them.
Thank`s again for your time and trouble to answer my questions.

I can confirm that all of those are fine to install on a shared host.
