can other systems read my raid

I have two raid 0 devices on my system. One for / and the other for virtual machines. This is a software raid. If I was to be locked out of my system is it possible to read the contents of the raid from say a live cd? Not that i'm going to be locked out but I was just wondering if there is a way to set up another OS to be able to read the contents of the raid.
