can not log in
Hi linux user,
I am using debian 3. I have set up my nis server and client successfully.
at my nis client, I log in as root so that it is reading the local client machine. At my client, I have manually changed (edit) my from the root name to admin in etc/passwd.
So now my /etc/passwd is as follow :
admin:x:0:0:root:/root:/bin/bash
(please note above root has changed to admin)
Oh ! God ! after that I logout but I can not log in using root account anymore.
But I can use other user account to login (the user account created from my nis server) . But now how can I changed the root back from admin to root at my client. so that I can log in as root.
Your help is highly apprecited.
