Can not install Ubuntu 18.04 Error - end kernel panic

For over a month I have been trying to install Bionic Beaver on my system. There is no doubt that I am a newbie, but have recently attained a 2 year degree in IT and should be able to handle this. Have read all the FAQ's that I can find and none of them fit my specific situation. Am now also taking an online edx class on learning linux. Am willing to do all that is necessary to learn this but am totally lost. Need to be pointed in the right direction. Grateful for any help. Thankyou

2 year degree in IT : theory and hands on experience are 2 different things. Don't beat yourself up.
what are you trying to install it on, and as asked error messages, and means you are using to install, ie dvd, usb stick, net install. etc... eufi or mbr etc...
