Can not install Gaim 0.77 on SuSE
 

I have SuSE 9.1 and I wish to install Gaim 0.77 but I don't know how. I am newbie to Linux. I went to gaim site but there doesn't seem to be build for SuSE. Any anyone help me installing this program, which one I should download and what I should do ? Thanks

I messed with Suse for a short period of time and I remember that yast was very good at downloading and installing programs for you. Did you try yast yet?

Yes, I tried YaST but it just installs 0.75 from CD

The newest updates of official suse rpms are here (for example, lots of mirrors):

No gaim in there however.
The officiall GAIM site has lots of rpms:

There is a suse rpm here:
http://rpm.pbone.net/index.php3/stat....i586.rpm.html

Try searching for "gaim rpm suse" or search RPMseek.
