can not install antthing due to a bug how do i fix that in mandriva
i can't install anything on this distro of linux when i go to the control center
for example i downloaded the pidgin messenger and then i went to look for it in the control center and it didn't appear there and then a small window
pops up and says
"THE APPLICATION KWD CRASHED AND CAUSED THE SIGNAL 11"
"AN APPLICATION MOSTLY RECEIVES THE SIGSEGV SIGNAL DUE TO A BUG IN THE APPLICATION. THE APPLICATION WAS ASKED TO SAVE DOCUMENTS
This has nothing to do with installing apps. KWD=K Window Decorations. Are you running Compiz-Fusion? What version of Mandriva are you running? Have you checked for and installed all updates? If pidgin is installed you will find it under the Internet section of the kmemu. Do Alt & F2 type pidgin then click run.
