Can not boot from red hat cd w/ iso image
 

I am installing red hat on my winXP machine. It will not boot the iso image. It tries to boot from the CD, but gives an error message. I have downloaded the iso image and created the CD under winXP.

Please list the version number of the software you are trying to install.

Oops, this is red hat 9.0
 

Booting red hat 9.0 from iso image, I get an error, before red hat 9.0 comes up.

I can remove the CD and manually re-start the machine, which boots into winXP.

Can you post the error? So it did recognize the CD and start from it? Did you check the MD5 sums to see if your download wasn't corrupt.
