http://www.isc.tamu.edu/~lewing/linux/ gives the rules for using it:
Quote:

Permission to use and/or modify this image is granted provided you acknowledge me lewing@isc.tamu.edu and The GIMP if someone asks.
So ensure that you attribute it.

Just noted the "commercial" aspect: what exactly do you want to do with it?

A company uses trademarks or SM marks. To be sure you either have to investigate it or have a legal counselor advise you.

Despite the last ("if someone asks") it is better to attribute it.

When I wanted to use a trademark or service mark I had to look at all the images registered in the state, I had to look at all the US images and had to look at international marks. If a mark has been used and it remotely looks like another you most likely will be forced to abandon it and may have to pay the actual owner. If a mark is a commonly used mark it also can't be used even if it isn't registered to another company. This last part may not apply in India.

Your legal counsel would have told you that already.
